| |  Eddie Murphy hasn't made a good movie in a long long long time. He keeps making pointless and stupid movies such as Norbit. I haven't seen this yet, but everyone that I talked to said it was terrible. Eddie Murphy is such a great actor, but he just isn't getting the movies to showcase his abilities and movies like this make his acting look somewhat bad.

if you didnt like anchorman, superbad or talledega nights...then you probably wont like this movie, its one of those type of films. This movie isnt for everyone. will ferrell plays the same character in almost all of his movies, A grown ass man...acting like a child. I love the fact that half of the film lines are improvised..and off the top of the head, thats what makes them so funny to me IMO.

| | PINEAPPLE EXPRESS  FEATURED ACTORS: Seth Rogan Vincent Franco SUMMARY: Lazy stoner Dale Denton has only one reason to visit his equally lazy dealer Saul Silver: to purchase weed, specifically, a rare new strain called Pineapple Express. But when Dale becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop and the city's most dangerous drug lord, he panics and dumps his roach of Pineapple Express at the scene. Dale now has another reason to visit Saul: to find out if the weed is so rare that it can be traced back to him. And it is. As Dale and Saul run for their lives, they quickly discover that they're not suffering from weed-fueled paranoia; incredibly, the bad guys really are hot on their trail and trying to figure out the fastest way to kill them both. TRILL'Z REVIEW: these guys keep coming out with amazing movies man, if your going in thinking its going to be a laid back stoner movie, your going to be in for a suprise...it was waaaaaaaay more of an action/comedy then anything. Dale(Seth Rogan) goes to his pot dealer(Vincent Franco) to buy some good and get outta there, but saul always wants to kick it with him and shit. The comedy Starts off and the laughs roll all the way through, in my opinion i thought it was just as good if not better than superbad. Some characters in the movie didnt really even need to be in there, for instance dales girlfriend, they should have gave her more screen time, or just left her out of the picture. I was entertained throughout the whole film, It did have the feel of superbad, it gets really funny then serious. Vincent Franco totally stole the show. The things he comes up with had me rollin'. As the movie rolls through, you see dale and saul actually start becoming friends, with the arguing and the comedic lines. another thing i thought was hilarious was another character named "red" ive seen him before but in other movies such as hot rod and drillbit taylor. Although i dont think this movie is for everyone, But i can honestly say, GO SEE IT, EVERYONE! This movie has a little bit of everything in it. I have a feeling this could be an instant classic over time. i rate this movie: 5 blunts.....i want to see it again!
