The Computer Science department at my school is having a contest open to everyone. They want a design for www.csatniu.com (http://www.csatniu.com) , there are prizes available. I've seen some talent on this forum, and I thought I'd pass the oppurtunity to one of you all!
1st prize is a 30gb IPOD

The Computer Science Department will offer online courses from beginner undergraduate through graduate levels beginning with the Spring 2007 semester. Basic courses will include CSCI 210-Elementary Programming for all majors and CSCI 275-Elementary Web Design for all majors, with edgy graduate course topics such as computer security and Web development.
Also, the Computer Science Department's logo contest is well under way. NIU or non-NIU students may submit images for a chance to win. Prizes are a 30-GB Apple iPod with video capabilities for first place; an iPod nano for second place, and a 4-GB USB memory stick for third place. Deadline for image submission is 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25. The winning logo will be used on the department's new marketing Web site, www.CSatNIU.com (http://www.csatniu.com/), as well as in support of various other departmental endeavors.
For details about online courses, logo contest submissions or a computer science major or minor at NIU, check out what's in the works at www.CSatNIU.com (http://www.csatniu.com/). Also, details will soon be posted regarding Apple's upcoming visit to campus Thursday, Nov. 2, when logo winners will be announced.
