taking screenshots from videos

can someone tell me how to take screen shots from video? i cant do it by pressing "print screen", i know there should be a program out there or something, holla at me!

or look for interview
that also lets you record and make GIFs

right click desktop > settings > advanced > troubleshoot > hardware acceleration (make it all the way down to 0). now u can take screenshots of any type of video :]
